The North American Menopause Society (NAMS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. With NAMS education, you can earn the CME credits that you need in your state and for your specialty as well as to maintain your NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP) status. NAMS awards AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ to physicians and certificates of participation to others, with the number of pharmacotherapeutics hours specified for nurses on many NAMS programs.

Menopause Practice: A Clinician’s Guide, 5th edition

The Clincian’s Guide is NAMS leading professional resource. Written and reviewed in collaboration with dozens of experts in the care and treatment of midlife women, this new edition is an indispensable resource for all practitioners focused on menopause management.

Designated for a maximum of 26.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, the activity includes 11.5 hours of pharmacotherapeutics education, which will be noted on the certificate of participation. These learners should consult their professional licensing boards for information on the applicability and acceptance of continuing education credit for this activity.

To claim CME credit, please read and study the entire Clinician’s Guide, complete the examination and evaluation, and submit them to NAMS by the expiration date. Certificates will be issued to those who achieve a passing grade of 70%.
