Menopause: The Journal of The North American Menopause Society is a peer-reviewed scientific journal owned by NAMS and published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW). The monthly menopause journal has become the world's most widely regarded forum for scholarly articles on the leading research related to menopause.
The Society is proud that Menopause continues to achieve high ranking among scientific publications:
- For example, in the most recent Journal Citation Report (2009), Menopause ranked in the top 10 out of the 70 journals listed in the Ob/Gyn category with an impact factor of 3.082.
- With a paid circulation of over 2,000 individuals and institutions, and thousands more accessing the journal electronically through their institutions, Menopause reaches the leaders in the field who shape opinions worldwide.
Authors are encouraged to submit their papers for consideration. Advertisers are encouraged to support the official journal with their advertisements. Nonmembers of the Society are invited to subscribe or to join NAMS and receive Menopause plus additional member benefits for nearly the same price as that of a subscription.
Full-text articles published in Menopause since the first issue in the spring of 1994 are available on the Menopause website at www.menopausejournal.com maintained by LWW, along with "Editor's Picks" and topic-based Content Collections.
