Never been to a NAMS Annual Meeting? The following will serve as your guide on what to expect from the meeting and the spectacular Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.
The official language of the meeting will be English. No simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
Please note that meeting rooms can have varying temperatures. It is recommended that you bring a jacket or sweater to the sessions to avoid becoming too cool. The average outdoor temperature in Chicago in early October is 52°F (11°C). It can be significantly cooler in the evening.
The Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers is an entirely smoke-free hotel.
An automated teller machine (ATM) is available in the Lobby (Level 3). A complete list of banking facilities in the area is available.
Michigan Avenue shopping (commonly referred to as the Magnificent Mile) is approximately a five-minute walk from the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. There are 460 exclusive stores and boutiques located within this eight-block area. A complete list of shops is available. In addition, a gifts and sundries shop is available in the Lobby (Level 3).
The Business Center is located in the Lobby (Level 3) of the hotel. The hours of operation are 7:00 AM-6:00 PM Wednesday through Friday. The hours of operation on Saturday are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Typical gratuities in Chicago include 15% to taxi drivers, $1 per bag to skycaps and hotel bellmen, $2 per day to hotel maids, and 20% for food and beverage services. For small groups, restaurant bills typically do not include service charges. However, check with your server before ordering.
