New Years Resolution:
Attend the NAMS 2009 Annual Meeting
Resolve that 2009 will be the year that you must attend the NAMS Annual Meeting, convening September 30-October 3 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA. In addition to the spectacular venue, the scientific program (planned on the theme of "A New Experience: Bringing Technology to Menopausal Health") with great speakers debating controversial topics is sure to engage all attendees. "We promise you cutting-edge scientific information, clinical pearls, and unsurpassed networking opportunities," said Dr. Leon Speroff, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee.
Submit Your Research for Presentation
All are invited and encouraged to share their work in the field of menopause by submitting scientific abstracts to be considered for presentation at the NAMS 2009 Annual Meeting. Submit your abstracts through the NAMS Web site between January 15 and April 30.
Display Your Proficiency by Earning the NAMS Menopause Practitioner Credential
NAMS encourages all members who are licensed healthcare professionals to earn this prestigious credential. The 100-item multiple choice competency examination will be held in 12 US cities and Toronto, Canada, on May 16 and just prior to the NAMS Annual Meeting in San Diego on September 30. Make your plans today!
2009 Dues Now Owed
"Don't miss out on all your NAMS member benefits," said Dr. Diane Pace, Chair of the Membership Committee. "Make sure you pay your 2009 dues as soon as possible."
Time to Enhance Your Patient Education Inventory
Start the new year right with an order for helpful patient educational materials from NAMS. They will save you counseling time worth far more than the cost of the materials.
Thanks So Much for Your Support
"The NAMS Foundation is sincerely grateful for your financial support during 2008," said Foundation President, Dr. Wulf Utian. "In these tough economic times, we need not only your membership and involvement in NAMS activities and initiatives, but also your donations. Working together, well make a difference in millions of women's lives."
