NAMS at ACOG

If you’re going to the annual meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) this May in Washington, DC, be sure to come to the NAMS session! NAMS is ACOG’s Special Interest Group for Menopause and Postmenopausal Sexual Health and, as such, will host a lecture by NAMS president-elect, Dr. JoAnn Pinkerton, on May 6 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in Meeting Room 336 of the convention center. Also be sure to stop by the NAMS exhibit (#413) to say hello!

Since the FDA’s warnings of January 9 regarding compounded
so-called “bioidentical hormone replacement therapy,” the enraged outcry from some pharmacists, healthcare providers, and consumers has been substantial. NAMS supports the FDA’s stance.
