The North American Menopause Society (NAMS) is pleased to offer the Society's Media Award that recognizes an outstanding media professional whose body of work, through any consumer media outlet (ie, print, television, radio, Internet), has served to expand the knowledge and understanding of menopause.Other awards are also presented to individuals recognizing their clinical contributions or scientific investigation.
All these Society awards, selected by an independent Awards Committee of NAMS members, are designed to acknowledge exceptional contributions and achievements in the field of menopause and women’s health.
Nominations of deserving candidates for consideration by the Awards Committee are encouraged. Award recipients are formally announced and acknowledged at the NAMS Annual Meeting. NAMS appreciates the generous support of grantors which has made many of these awards possible.
