Ever since 1989, The North American Menopause Society has held an Annual Scientific Meeting considered to be the leading medical conference dedicated to promoting the health and quality of life of all women during midlife and beyond.

This year’s meeting, with the theme of NAMS at 30: Making Menopause Mainstream, is sure to provide you with comprehensive and exciting updates on today’s most relevant issues relating to menopause and midlife women’s health.

Join us on Wednesday, September 25, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, for the Pre-Meeting Symposium organized by the 2019 Pre-Meeting Co-Chair, Cynthia A. Stuenkel, MD, NCMP.

Menopause 101 Course — SOLD OUT

Menopause 101: Building the Foundation

 

New for 2019, NAMS will offer a Menopause 101 course on Tuesday, September 24, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, titled Menopause 101: Building the Foundation. Presentations during the program will include

  • Pathophysiology of Menopause
  • Bone
  • Cardiovascular Health
  • Mood and Cognition
  • Hot Flashes: Nonhormone Management
  • Hormone Management: Orals versus Transdermals
  • Sexual Health

The course will also include case presentations with the speakers.

The President's Reception Celebrating NAMS 30th Anniversary

Unwind in an entertaining atmosphere filled with music, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres. NAMS President Dr. James Liu invites you and your registered guest to a special President's Reception on Wednesday evening, September 25.

Poster Reception and NAMS Exhibits

Learn about some of the latest medical studies and about new products on the market by attending the Poster Reception and visiting the NAMS Exhibit Hall. A special reception is being hosted in the Exhibit Hall on Thursday evening, September 26.

Donor Cocktail Party

Show your support of NAMS by joining the Board of Trustees for appetizers and cocktails at the 2019 Donor Cocktail Party on Friday evening, September 27. Your tax-deductible donation gives you access to the party and helps support NAMS many educational initiatives.

NCMP Certification

Signal to the world that you are a menopause specialist by becoming a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP). The competency exam leading to this prestigious credential will be administered from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, at the hotel—so that you can be on your way to meeting a new standard of care at the same time you’re attending the NAMS Annual Meeting.
