Ever since 1989, The North American Menopause Society has held an Annual Scientific Meeting considered to be the leading medical conference dedicated to promoting the health and quality of life of all women during midlife and beyond.

Pre-Meeting Symposium

Musculoskeletal Health in Postmenopausal Women: Assessment and Management of Fracture Risk

Join us on Wednesday, October 11, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, when we’ll kick off the meeting with the Pre-Meeting organized by the 2017 Pre-Meeting Co-Chair, Michael R. McClung, MD.

Presentations will address assessment, including DXA best practices; case examples; and new imaging strategies, along with information on pharmacologic therapy for osteoporosis and a discussion on preventing falls and improving muscle function. The program will conclude with case presentations, an interactive panel discussion, and a Q&A with the audience.

The President's Reception

Research Poster Reception and NAMS Exhibits

Learn about some of the latest medical studies and about new products on the market by attending the Research Poster Reception and visiting the NAMS Exhibits. A special reception is being hosted in the Exhibit Hall on Thursday evening, October 12.

NCMP Certification

Signal to the world that you are a menopause specialist by becoming a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP). The competency exam leading to this prestigious credential will be administered from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 11, at the hotel—so that you can be on your way to meeting a new standard of care at the same time you’re attending the NAMS Annual Meeting.
