Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the NAMS Annual Meeting, participants should be able to:
  • Describe recent developments in the management of menopause and women’s health at midlife and beyond, including those in personalized medicine
  • Translate the scientific evidence on key menopause-related issues, especially evidence emerging from major clinical trials, to clinical practice
  • Counsel patients appropriately on the effectiveness and safety of treatments for symptoms of menopause and other conditions that commonly affect midlife and older women

On Thursday and Friday mornings of the 2013 Annual Meeting, there will also be “Meet the Experts” CME breakfast sessions offered at a small additional fee.

The North American Menopause Society (NAMS) designates each of these live activities for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nonphysician healthcare professionals who participate in these activities will receive a certificate of participation.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Use the expert advice they received on the clinical challenges they discussed in their practice
  • Comprehend emerging technologic and scientific developments and healthcare system requirements and their effects on practice in the future
